While we’re not a travel agency, we’re happy to answer questions about getting to San Miguel and where to stay. We want your experience to be as smooth and inspiring as possible — from touchdown to final toast.

Preparation

Prior to the Workshop you will be required to do some prep work that we hope you'll enjoy!

This homework is designed to get your creative juices flowing and thinking about key screenwriting concepts so that you will hit the ground running.

Get ready for a pitching contest on night one at a rooftop restaurant overlooking San Miguel, aptly named "pueblo magico" because the city sits atop a rose quartz mountain and is surrounded by mountains full of hematite.

While this may be your first visit to San Miguel, we doubt it will be your last.

As you develop your skills and find yourself finishing your first or even fifth draft, we will be hosting advanced workshops with table reads and local actors playing scenes to help students hone their craft.

So, whether it be scene and character descriptions, action, or dialogue, there's always more to refine, refine, refine.
