The Writing Process

Each day starts at 9:00 am with a Continental Breakfast.

At 9:30 am we begin with lessons on craft. At 1:00 pm, you have afternoons to roam and work on assignments. We reconvene at 4:00-6:00 pm for in-class critique and discussion.

In two days, you will learn:

  • Logline - How to write your script's main selling tool.

  • Characters - How to create compelling characters.

  • Theme - What's your hook and how to find it.

In five days, in addition to the foregoing, you will learn:

  • Structure - How to structure your first act plus tips and tools to get you through the pesky second act on through to THE END.

  • Outline - How to craft an outline that will guide you through the writing process.

  • Dialogue - Characters become iconic through memorable dialogue. How to give characters their own voice.
